How this calculator works
Wax is lighter than water, so wax weight = water weight x about 0.86 for soy (0.9 for coconut blends and paraffin, 0.96 for beeswax). Fragrance weight = wax weight x fragrance load %. We add 10% extra to the wax to melt.
